Changes for 2014 Include:

-New 'run what you brung' classes so that those with older or non-conforming engine packages can participate*

-Practice days where new drivers can become familiar with the track and equipment, and more experienced racers can hone their skills -Training courses for new drivers held by World Championship level kart racers

-Workshops for new crew chief dad's or mom's by championship winning karting mechanics and auto racing crew chiefs and race engineers

*All karts must meet standard ASN safety regulations including full rear bumpers (steel or plastic style acceptable).  Engines will be limited to single cylinder maximum 125cc two stroke and maximum 270cc 4 stroke.  All drivers must have proper clothing and safety equipment with a minimum of shoes, jeans, jacket, gloves and DOT approved full face helmets.  Racing suit, chest protector, neck protector, and SNELL M, K or SA approved helmets are recommended.
